Design Entrepreneurship

Course learnings

Within a team we worked as a design consultancy to redesign the user experience for the start-up TouchPulse. I took on the role of planner and UX designer within the team. The project focused on understanding visually impaired users and translating their needs into value-driven service opportunities.

Environmental observations and surveys were conducted with visually impaired users to understand context and behaviour. Insights informed ideation grounded in behaviour change theory, after which the concept was iteratively developed across multiple design sprints using business-oriented tools and expert feedback.

This resulted in the integration of engaging training modules into TouchPulse’s navigation app, supporting visually impaired users in developing orientation and mobility skills.
